Accommodation Celebrating Dover Museum and Gallery (DMG) is situated in the Dover Old School building, on the Huon Highway. It is currently run by volunteers from the Dover History Group Inc. DMG features a permanent display of maritime and local history, and also holds various other exhibitions throughout the year. The Maritime Museum of Tasmania also supports DMG with its travelling exhibitions. In 2017, DMG revitalised the Dover Flower Show and it has become a popular annual event each September. The DMG also supports local artists and has various paintings and pottery for sale, as well as prints and cards. DMG has a number of publications on sale, including several produced by historian Dorothy Crocker on the history of the area.
