It hosted the then Governor of Tasmania and Anglican Bishop at a Ball in the 1930s. In the 1990s, it was converted to a residence and antique shop. It is now a charming residence designed in an old-Queenslander style with a verandah all around to relax on and enjoy the delightful rose garden and rural vista. Two quaint yet spacious bedrooms are located upstairs with bed and sitting areas and each room has its own bathroom. Coffee/tea facilities are available as well as TV and WiFi and DVDs on request. A continental breakfast of toast, cereal, yoghurt, seasonal local fruit/berries and preserves is included with the tariff. Guests are welcome to use the downstairs dining area or enjoy their breakfast on the verandah, which also houses barbecue facilities.
