Home Hill is a premier destination, renowned for its delicious menu featuring local delicacies sourced from leading Tasmanian producers, and only a 30-minute drive south of Hobart. The Home Hill Pinot Noir brings many visitors to the region, with the 2014 Kelly Reserve Pinot Noir winning the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy in 2015, cementing Home Hill as one of the leading producers of Pinot Noir in Tasmania. Since 2015 Home Hill has won numerous awards with their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and this trend is expected to continue for many years. The Pinot Gris vines were planted five years ago and are now producing excellent fruit, and along with a German grape variety, Sylvaner, Rose and two sparkling wines, M/s Daisy and Kelly’s Cuvee there is an excellent range to choose from these amazing cool climate wines. Mountain River Craft Beer is made on the premises, and it’s not to be missed when you call in and say hello. The family run business is off the beaten track, but it’s worth the drive to dine in their restaurant, with one of Tasmanian leading chefs at the helm in the kitchen.
