Let the professional Parks and Wildlife guides take you on a journey of discovery through Newdegate Cave, a large, multileveled dolomite cave where you will be surrounded by beautiful crystal formations many thousands of years old. Relax and soak up the ambience of the forest whilst swimming in the naturally warm Thermal Springs pool. Take a stroll through the fern glades and search for a platypus and trout on the lovely waterside short walks. Opening hours and cave tour times vary seasonally, with updated information available at www.parks.tas.gov.au/hastings-caves Bookings are recommended, and may be made up to 14 days in advance by calling Hastings Caves on (03) 6298 3209. Plan to arrive at the visitor centre 45 minutes before your booked tour to allow for ticket purchase and travel to the cave, where your guide will meet you to conduct the scheduled tour.
